Nourish November: November 7- Moisturize your face, neck, and décolletage daily
Updated: Nov 11, 2020
Today’s recommendation is a beauty tip. Moisturizer should be applied in the morning and evening. The morning moisturizer can be lighter than a night cream, and it should contain sunscreen. When you apply lotion, apply it with a light touch and apply it upward. You don’t want to pull the skin downward, as it could cause fine lines. When you apply moisturizer don’t forget, your neck, décolletage, and the back of your neck. These are all places that need to receive lotion regularly to prevent aging. The skin of your neck and décolletage is thin and at more risk for fine lines. The same is true for the skin under your eyes.
When you apply eye cream under your eyes, use your ring finger. It is the weakest of the fingers, and therefore it will apply the least amount of pressure to this sensitive area. When you apply eye cream, make sure you are you putting it all around your eye and on the lid. This will help to prevent lines around your eyes.
One more beauty tip for healthy looking skin is to make sure you are drinking plenty of water. I recommend drinking half of your body weight in ounces per day. So, if someone weighed 100 pounds, they would drink 50 ounces. I hope this week of Nourish November tips has been helpful for you. I’ll be back tomorrow to talk about the benefits of regular stretching.
