Nourish November: November 25- Gratitude

Updated: Nov 28, 2020

One of the things I love about Thanksgiving is the focus on gratitude. Especially during this difficult year, it’s nice to take time to reflect on what we are thankful for and to enjoy delicious food.

Gratitude is a powerful force. It can improve your physical and mental health, and it increases happiness. Gratitude can help you deal with challenging times, and it can strengthen your connections and relationships.

Consider starting or ending each day by reflecting on your blessings. Gratitude has no requirments. You can be thankful for the smallest or biggest parts of your life.

If you want to try to keep the Thanksgiving mindset going, consider this experiment. The next time you feel overwhelmed, stressed, or negative, switch your thinking to what you are grateful for in your life. It will distract you from the present challenges, and it will help to calm you down. When you are reminded of the good things in your life, it will be easier to handle the current situation. I am grateful for the readers of this blog, and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
