Do you ever take a moment to reflect on and admire your past self? It's healthy to think about all you've accomplished and the path you laid down that led you to who you are today. At this moment, you are building the path for your future.
When we feel gratitude for ourselves and our lives, we invite happiness into our days. As I've shared in the past, we are biologically hard-wired to favor the negative, so it can be easier to remember past mistakes than past triumphs. The truth is you have many past successes and you will have current and future successes.
Thank your past self for all of the hard work you've done and treasure the memories and fun moments. Give thanks for exactly who you are today and know you are still writing your story.
