My name is Courtney, and I became a mom in late October of 2018. This experience shifted the way I look at the world in a lot of different ways. For most of my life, I've battled perfectionism in one way or another. It controlled my thoughts, actions, and the way I lived for many years. I've learned that wellness and self-compassion are two of the most important tools that help me on a daily basis with perfectionism.
